Message from the Principal

Welcome to Stanfield Elementary School! It is a pleasure to serve this community and teach the rising generation of students. We care about our students and their families. We believe all students are capable learners and want to engage in productive educational experiences inside and outside of the classroom. Our priority is to teach skills and knowledge that will serve students well in all aspects of life, grow to be productive citizens and reach their full potential.

There are three things you can do as parents that will benefit your child for years to come. The first is to foster a love for learning and reading. Spend time reading with your child, let them explore books, language, words, and pictures. The conversations, language skills, and background knowledge this instills in our children is priceless.

Second, help your child develop a healthy relationship with technology. Talk about what is best for your family. What value does technology hold? How do you want it shaping your child’s life? Having these conversations early and setting boundaries will help you and your child navigate an ever-changing tech world where you hold control, not the technology.

Third, help your child develop healthy social skills. Have play dates with friends, and let them explore the park on their own. Guide them to take chances. Push them to do hard things on their own. As you do this, your child will develop independence that translates into confidence in the classroom.

I believe as we work together as a school family we can create a PK-5 school where children are happy, learning, and developing into Stanfield’s best. Stanfield is a great place to be and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

Sincerely,

Lacey Sharp

  • ParentSquare

All schools in our district use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text, and app notifications.

ParentSquare automatically syncs with our student information system to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

ParentSquare is a safe, secure, and modern approach to communication and collaboration between school and home. Learn more and get started today by viewing our Stanfield School District ParentSquare page.
