Continuance Bond May 2019

The Stanfield School District will be going out for a continuance bond on the May 2019 ballot. The current bond will be paid off in June 2019. This new bond would begin after that. We are very pleased to announce that we have received a commitment for $4 million in matching funds through the Oregon Schools Capital Improvement Match (OSCIM) grant if voters approve the bond for Stanfield Schools on the May 2019 ballot!

Community Bond Tour

We will be holding a tour for the facilities to give the community who attend a better understanding of the reasons for the upcoming bond proposal. We will begin in the Stanfield Secondary School's Cafeteria.

Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act

Announcement – August 27, 2018

In 1989 Congress enacted the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) primarily to require school districts to identify asbestos-containing materials (ACM) in their school buildings and take appropriate actions to control the release of asbestos fibers. In 1987 the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized a program which enforces the AHERA.
