We are wrapping up National School Lunch Week, and Stanfield School District is lucky to have such amazing staff in our Food Service department. Our students are able to eat a nutritious breakfast and lunch that has been prepared with care every school day at no charge. Our folks do it all: planning menus, ordering supplies and food, keeping up with all the required paperwork, cleaning, cooking, prepping and connecting with students when they come through the line.
It is hard to catch these amazing ladies for a picture, because they never stop moving! If you look closely, you can see Mrs. Grogan and Mrs. Chavez working hard to keep the elementary lunch moving smoothly. (Special thank you to the high school students who come over to help serve!)
The secondary school kitchen serves lunch to the entire middle school student body and then turns around 30 minutes later to serve the high school. It's pretty amazing what these ladies accomplish each day!
These staff members work hard to make sure our students are fed so that they are better equipped to learn. Our food service staff (Steph Grogan, Marina Chavez, Lisa Logan, Ashleigh Monkus and Heather Monkus) are simply the best. Go Tigers! #NSLW23inOR
