SSS Announcements for January 8

Student Discipline Students: Please notice our new Discipline Matrix that is in effect as of today, the 1st day of 2nd semester. The goal of the matrix is to be clear and upfront about expectations and consequences. You can find the document online on our school website under Student Resources next to the Handbook link. It can also be found under Parent Resources next to the Handbook link. We will be going over the Matrix in Advisory this Thursday, but you are all encouraged to look it over ahead of time.

January Can & Coat Drive Students - National Honor Society is sponsoring a Can & Coat Drive for the month of January, to benefit the Agape House. Be sure to bring in canned food items and any new or gently new coats. The class with the most at the end of the month will earn a pizza party! Donation boxes for each grade level are located in the following classrooms: 6th Grade Donations: Mr. Braithwaite; 7th Grade Donations: Mr. Bailey; 8th Grade Donations: Mr. Sharp; 9th Grade Donations: Mr. Tynkila; 10th Grade Donations: Mr. Davis; 11th Grade Donations: Mr. Rogers; 12th Grade Donations: Mrs. Snow

Washington DC Youth Tour Juniors - if you are interested in applying for the Washington, DC, Youth Tour, sponsored by Umatilla Electric Cooperation, this is a reminder that the applications are due TOMORROW, January 9th. Information and applications are available in the scholarship rack.
