SSS Announcements for October 5

Door safety - When entering the high school from the middle school please use the main front doors and stop propping the doors open, They are locked for your safety.

College Acceptances - Congratulations to the following students, who were instantly accepted to Western Oregon University during onsite admissions yesterday: Amanda Carrillo, Brianna Cornejo, Payton Henning, Lydia Hurty, Shayne Keltz, Brook Lopez, Alicia Madrigal, Julia Martin, and Haili Spurlock. Way to go!

Umatilla County Fair Court - Interested in being part of the Umatilla County Fair Court? Applications are available in the scholarship rack for those interested in applying, due October 20th.

PSAT - Sophomores - the annual PSAT testing is coming up quickly, on Wednesday October 11th, starting at 8 AM in Room 8. This test is designed to prepare you for the SAT, and also can fulfill some of the Essential Skills requirements for graduation. Practice booklets are available from Mrs. Wright. Please also see Mrs. Wright with any questions.

Upcoming Club Meetings - The next Generation College meeting will be on Wednesday October 11th after school in the library, and the next National Honor Society will be on Thursday, October 12th at 7:40 in the library. See you then!

FAFSA - Seniors: The FAFSA is now open! Please see Mrs. Wright if you have any questions along the way. We are hosting a FAFSA Drop-In in our computer lab from 9-noon on October 21st, for seniors and parents to get assistance with filling it out.
