School Closures, Delays and Other Emergency Related Information
The Stanfield School District has several resources to communicate school closures, delays and other emergency related information:
• SchoolMessenger is an automated phone calling system that will begin calling out our staff and parents at 5:30 a.m., in order to reach all students and staff in a timely manner. To ensure that you will be able to receive notifications, please ensure your PowerSchool contact information is correct. If you need to make any changes, please contact your student’s school.
• Our local radio stations such as KOHU 1360 AM and KQFM 93.7 FM will be notified as well as our local TV stations and newspapers.
• School closures and delay information will be posted on the district’s home page. We will also post messages on the district’s Facebook page. From November-February, please assume that our schools are operating under a regular schedule, unless we inform you otherwise.
• Stanfield School District Mobile App will be utilized by the district to push notifications in the event of inclement weather or other emergency related information to staff and parents.
