Today at Stanfield Elementary School, we had Annette Chastain, Licensed Clinical Social Worker from The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Oregon, provide training in Conscious Discipline.
 Ms. Chastain is a mental health consultation, training, and coaching for Head Starts, Early Head Starts, Childcare Centers, Social Service Agencies, Native American Tribes, communities and schools. She has over 20 years experience in outpatient mental health, day treatment, classroom settings, parent training, in home skills training and as a culture competency trainer.

She brings her passion for teaching Conscious Discipline into every area of her life, and she uses her personal stories to help others learn the skills and powers of Conscious Discipline. As a presenter, she creates safe environments where participants become willing to learn and grow together.

We had 18 parents attend our Conscious Discipline training today with Ms. Chastain. She also spent time coaching our teachers.

In a sea of self-help and parenting books, Conscious Discipline provides a proven and comprehensive approach that will improve both the parent's liffe and the lives of their children. With Conscious Discipline, we can learn to discipline differently than we were disciplined, break the cycle of “do as I say, not as I do,” and discipline our children without permissiveness, aggression or guilt.
