Presidential Fitness Award 2017

ELEMENTARY PE would like to congratulate the following students who have earned the President's Council on Physical Fitness AwardIn order to qualify, the following students scored in the 90th Percentile or Higher National Standard in ALL 5 fitness tests: 

Pull-ups, V-Stretch, Curl-Ups, Shuttle Run, and Mile Run.

Achieve 300 Read to Succeeed Challenge

Stanfield Elementary School teamed up with Achieve 3000 and participated in the Read to Succeed challenge. It is proven that the more students read, the more their reading skills improve. To help our students do their best, Achieve3000® sponsored the contest. Mrs. Herron's reading class won and enjoyed a pizza party as a reward.

Kinder/Preschool Registration

Kinder/PreSchool Registration will be at the Stanfield Elementary School.

For preschool, child must be 4 by September 1st. For kinder, child needs to be 5 by September 1st.

When you come to registration, you must have the child's birth certificate, proof of Stanfield address, and immunization records.

Jump/Hoops for Heart 2017

ELEMENTARY PE NEWS 2017 - It Takes Heart to be a HERO           

Stanfield Tiger Cubs “rock” Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart Event 2017 raising $3,570 dollars…NEW SCHOOL RECORD for The American Heart Association.  Their efforts connected Stanfield Elementary School to our community by fundraising money used for research in the fight to prevent heart-lung disease and stroke.  By doing so, they also promoted awareness to staying fit, active, and healthy for a life-time.  And, we had a lot of FUN!!
